One of the most beautiful native trees in Virginia is the dogwood, white in spring, red in fall. As you can see, it gets its fall colors earlier than the other trees do. Post processing was modest: I added some contrast, darkened the green background, and gave it a vignette.
Interesting contrast.. the field looks like it’s spring, while the trees are definately autumn.

I went to Saunders Springs in Radcliff, Kentucky for some of my hunt finds. This is a beautiful place.
We found autumn leaves on green grass. It’s June. Summer will come soon. This spring is too cold, so leaves might make mistake.
