What’s not getting done tonight.

Tonight the cat decided that she would be a trusted system tonight, at least as far as making me not use my notebook is concerned.

Sometimes we all need our own reminders that the goal of implementing a good system for managing our work isn’t just about getting more done. It’s about taking care of what we need to do so we can relax and spend time on what matters.

Performance Issues 3/28/07

We’re currently experiencing extremely slow application performance, resulting in many actions in the application taking 15 seconds or more to complete.
We have opened a ticket with our hosting provider, and hopefully will return to normal sooner rather than later.

Update: The issue has been resolved, and everything seems to be back to normal.

Productivity Pin-up Shots

Despite my love of nice paper and the tiny thrill I get from finding a good fountain pen, I’ve removed as much paper from my life as possible. Instead I’ve been vicariously living the paper life through the Getting Things Done Flickr pool and ogling the moleskines and their kind.The set-ups that include lovely custom illustrations, meticulously modified moleskines, or tidy blue writing bring back fond memories of the orderly engineer notes my grandfather used to fill while tossing the kids leftover paper for art projects.
