I’m pleased to announce that Jott has added a Premium Jott Link for Enleiten. While full signup instructions are here, all you really need to do is sign into your Jott account (post-beta, this requires some level of paid account), click “Add Jott Links”, choose “Premium Links”, and click “Add” next to the Enleiten icon. Feel free to change the link name if you’re so inclined, and check “Send SMS Response” if you would like to get a confirmation. Click save, and you’ll be briefly redirected back to Enleiten. If you’re not currently logged in, you’ll be prompted for your Enleiten login, otherwise you’ll immediately be redirected back to Jott. That’s it.
Now, just call into Jott, answer “Enleiten” (yes, they do know what it sounds like), and record your message. A new task will be added to your Enleiten inbox, with a link in the details back to the full audio.

As you log in today, you’ll notice a few changes to our interface.
Projects on hold now or with future start dates appear greyed in the projects panel, so it is easier to tell what’s active.
You can pick up RSS feeds from most pages now, if that’s your preferred method of keeping an eye on your to-do lists.
A journal tab lets you scroll through your history of recent comments, tasks that have been completed or updated, etc.
Contacts now require only a first or last name, not an email address. You can, however, enter complete contact information for anyone you’ve added.
Assignments can now be changed by double-clicking and selecting from a list of your contacts. The assignee’s name displays instead of just an icon.
Next Actions now includes tasks due in the next two days, to give you an idea what’s coming up.
Pro users will now see tasks assigned to them in group projects in their Next Actions list.

The Office 2.0 conference is coming up fast, and we’re thrilled to announce we’ll be there. I’ll be participating the GTD panel, along with GTD guru David Allen, Neil Mendelson from Mindjet, and Kevin Merritt from blist.
The conference will include new tools, best practices, and case studies on using Web 2.0 applications to move to a productive, paperless workplace. The focus of the event this year is on enterprise adoption of Web 2.0 services.
Registration for the conference is still open, if you’d like to attend. It will be held at the St. Regis Hotel in downtown San Francisco. Attendees will also receive an HP 2133 Mini-Note PC, so the conference can run paper-free. Conference attendance also gets you into the Unconference.
At the conference we’ll also be doing two launches we’re very excited about. The Pro version of Enleiten’s GTD-based project management app will come out of beta. This version allows groups to share project space, while still maintaining the privacy of personal to-do lists in a single trusted single. We owe a thousand thanks to the beta testers who have given us patient feedback and suggestions on how to improve the interface and suggestions to get the workflow right.
We’ll also be releasing the beta of our community checklists library. You can contribute your favorite shopping lists, business trip packing lists, weekly review checklists, wedding planning lists, and more. Users and non-users will be able to search for useful lists, and users will be able to convert them directly to projects in their Enleiten account.

We just released version 1.2 of Enleiten’s personal project management application.
Here’s what’s new!
Entering details for new projects has been improved.
Create New Project
In project view, you can now see the order of tasks within a project. You can drag and drop tasks to change the order, and click on the headings to change the sorting to retrieve tasks more easily.
Task priority numbering
The task detail screen has been overhauled based on your suggestions.
Editing task details doesn’t require a full page load, to make that quicker. (Remember, you can also double click a task field in a project view to edit commonly used information directly.)

Comments will be hidden by default after you’ve viewed them to make it easier to see new discussions about a task. Clicking “show” will give you access to older older comments.
View Comments on a Task
When you assign a task to a contact, you can now choose whether to email them a notification or not. Anything you assign will moved to your waiting list, and can be retrieved by clicking the contact’s name – whether we sent them a copy of the task or you are just keeping a record for yourself of outstanding items.

Paid accounts also have an option to attach files to tasks. (up to 500 MB in the Personal $5/month edition)
Attach File to a Task
If you would rather not get notifications of every comment on a delegated task and new assignments you’ve received by email, you can now disable that your profile.

We’ve been busy working on some improvements based on your feedback again, so here’s a quick preview of what will be coming with the next release. Some minor bug fixes have been pushed.
We’ve streamlined the new project creation process, so you can enter details about your new projects when you create them.
This new project creation will also make it easier for pro users to create new checklist templates, assign groups, and change whether a project belongs to a group.
We’ve added task numbering within projects as well, so in addition to clicking on a heading to resort your projects by date, context, etc, you can get back to the prioritized order with a single click. Tasks can still be reordered by dragging and dropping in the project list when sorted numerically.
For those of you requesting additional customizability, you’ll be able to make changes to your email preferences to control the types of notifications you receive.

You’ve been sending us feature requests and suggestions to improve our interface, and we’ve just rolled out a bunch of the changes you’ve been asking for
If you like to prioritize your projects, you can now choose the order your projects are in to customize the display order of your projects. (The “all projects” link is at the bottom of the project panel in basic accounts)
Adding tasks directly to projects has been improved:
Under “Profile”, you can now also set a variety of email options. Add additional email addresses so you can forward tasks directly to your Enleiten inbox.
In your profile, you can also opt to receive a daily email of your next actions list, or any contexts you choose.
We’ve also added basic search, so you can locate your tasks individually.

A big welcome to GTD Times readers.
We’ve had some comments about the ads interfering with trying out our application, so we’ve turned off ads on all free accounts for the week. Ad-free accounts are $5 a month, and we’ll work on bringing back less obtrusive ones when we turn them back on.
If you’ve got comments or suggestions for us, please feel free to leave us a comment or drop us an email at support@enleiten.com. We value your comments, and user requests weigh heavily in deciding what changes and improvements we make.
If you’re looking for some quick ways to get started, we’ve got screenshots outlining the feature sets in our help documentation, and some short screencasts to let you see how things work.
A quick note for users of other apps: Checking off the box next to a task entry marks it as complete. To edit task details, you can double click on the item you want to change, or click the “i” on the right to get into extended details.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Steve Borsch earlier this week. He’s a GTD fan, longtime tech advisor and expert, and contributor to Minnov8, a community blog covering emerging tech in MN. In addition to giving us some excellent feedback, he’s reviewed Enleiten’s GTD and project management application.
…Enleiten has nailed the workflow and functionality (Projects/People/Contexts) in much the same way that Google nailed search vs. cluttering up the page with lots of ads, upsells and cross selling. They’ve hit the sweet spot of GTD and lightweight project management and coupled it with a group approach — one I’d term a “social GTD” application.
As more of us seek ways to coordinate and orchestrate our activities with an ever widening number of other always-on, always-connected, and willingly participative people (many of whom have already embraced GTD), Enleiten has significant opportunity to become a preferred and social way to get things done.
