San jose museum of art front door

The last time I shot this particular scene, I was using a digital and the special exhibition was Andy Warhol. Two years later, I shot this scene with film and the exhibition was on Robert Mapplethorpe.
Anyways, this one is shot with auto mode. Isn’t it ironic that most of the properly set up photos were all metered wrong and the one shot in Auto turned out to have the best meter? Actually it’s overexposed, just like the rest but this photo takes advantage of that. I am suspecting my camera was modified to use silver oxide batteries, so everything is overexposed by two stops when I use a proper voltage battery….
Anyways, technical issue aside, I think I’ll just shoot everything two stops less (actually 1 1/3 stop less, since negatives need to be slightly overexposed). After the school quarter is over, I’ll send the camera to be CLAed (clean, lube and adjusted).
